It wasn’t until after his early years of musical training that Kyle found that his true instrument was not the many instruments he had being trained to play but was, instead, his unbelievable voice! A crystal clear tenor who could hit and hold notes by most accounts like “no tomorrow”- young Kyle was inspired by singing luminaries like Donny Hathaway, Frank Sinatra, Luther Vandross and Stevie Wonder to name a few.
Kyle keeps a reverent eye on the past genius of his favorite artists but is laser focused on the future and the exciting and emerging music scene where both audience and entertainers can be stimulated across genre boundaries, a sort of soulful “Nirvana”. True to his musical heritage of Rhythm and Blues, Kyle presents in his debut album, his own soulful style.
